Shipping Policy – Dulcería Alebrijes

Thank you for shopping with Dulcería Alebrijes. We are committed to delivering your favorite Mexican candies, snacks, groceries, and party supplies quickly and safely. Please review our shipping policy before placing your order.


1. Shipping Locations

We currently ship to:

  • All 50 U.S. states
  • P.O. Boxes (only for select carriers)
  • APO/FPO addresses (delivery times may vary)

We do not offer international shipping at this time.


2. Processing Times

Orders are processed Monday through Friday.

  • Standard processing time: 1–3 business days
  • During holidays or high‑volume periods, processing may take longer
  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing the next business day

Processing time is separate from shipping time.


3. Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

Delivery times depend on the carrier and your location. Typical estimates:

  • Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days
  • Expedited Shipping (when available): 2–3 business days

These are estimates, not guarantees. Once a package is handed to the carrier, delivery speed is outside our control.


4. Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Order weight
  • Destination
  • Selected shipping method

From time to time, we may offer free shipping promotions.


5. Warm Weather & Heat‑Sensitive Items

Many of our products—especially candies—can melt in high temperatures.

  • We do not guarantee protection against heat damage
  • Customers assume the risk of melted items during warm weather
  • Consider choosing faster shipping during hot seasons

We do not offer refunds or replacements for heat‑related damage.


6. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

If a package is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address:

  • Additional shipping fees may apply to resend the package
  • Refunds are not provided for shipping costs

We are not responsible for delays caused by address errors.


7. Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Packages

Once an order is handed to the carrier, Dulcería Alebrijes is not responsible for:

  • Lost packages
  • Delayed deliveries
  • Stolen packages
  • Carrier errors

If your package is lost or stolen, please contact the carrier directly to file a claim.


8. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. Tracking updates may take up to 24 hours to appear.


9. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect due to our handling:

You must contact us within 48 hours with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the item(s) and packaging
  • A brief description of the issue

We may offer a replacement or store credit depending on the situation.
